A CD changer is a welcome addition to many mobile audio systems, but there are many applications where replacing the factory installed radio is either difficult to accomplish, or undesirable.  By packaging a CD changer with a controller and RF interface, Sony makes it possible to add a changer to almost any existing system.  By converting the CD audio signal into an FM radio signal, the “station” is simply tuned in on the existing FM radio.
